The SAS Gold Lounge consists of two floors and access requirements vary from floor to floor.
During my trip to Helsinki, I have a stopover at Copenhagen airport . As I have plenty of time, I visit several lounges. Curious about my other reviews? You can find those at the bottom of this page.
In this review, I will tell you about my experience in the SAS lounge at Copenhagen airport and I can tell you that it is a very pleasant lounge.
SAS Gold Lounge Copenhagen
I have visited the lounge more often in the past, but unfortunately I did not write blogs or reviews back then. So I’m happy to revisit the lounge now with a camera at the ready.

The SAS lounge at Copenhagen occupies two floors and both floors are very large. The lounge has several seating areas and in them there is something for everyone. For instance, you can rest on some large sofas, work in the various offices or take a seat in recliners or at dinner tables.
There is also a small coffee bar where you can order different types of coffee, there are several food stations where you can indulge to your heart’s content and there are a number of enclosed spaces that you can use as offices

SAS Gold Lounge Copenhagen access
You gain access to the lounge in a number of ways, noting that there is a difference between the ground floor and the first floor. You can turn left or right on entry and not switch later.
If you have booked a ticket in SAS Plus, SAS Business or on a Business Class flight from a SkyTeam partner, you will have access to the lower floor.
Want to visit the upper lounge? Then you need a EuroBonus Diamond or Gold level or SkyTeam Platinum level.
- EuroBonus
If you have status with EuroBonus – from Gold or Diamond upwards – you will have access to the lounge if you have a ticket with one of the SkyTeam partners. - SkyTeam / Flying Blue
If you have platinum status with Flying Blue / SkyTeam and fly with one of the SkyTeam partners, you will also have access to the lounge. - SAS Plus / SAS Business or SkyTeam Business
If you bought a ticket in SAS Plus, Business or a Business Class flight with one of the SkyTeam partners, you may use the lower floor of the lounge.
SAS Gold Lounge Copenhagen location
The SAS Gold Lounge holds a uniqueness, but whether it is one to be proud of, I don’t know. After all, the lounge is not indicated anywhere at the airport.
To find the lounge, walk to the passage where gates C/D/E and F are located. You’ll find the lounge by the escalators and you can hardly miss it once you’re there.

Food and drink SAS Gold Lounge
The lounge offers fine food and drinks. Where I start with a nice iced coffee at the coffee shop on the first floor, I can then go to one of the food stations to choose a tasty salad, bread or fresh meatballs. Fancy snacks or fruit? That is scattered throughout the lounge.

For the thirsty among us, the lounge is no punishment either. You can get beer yourself from the tap, soft drinks and water come from dispensers and juices, coffee and tea are available to your heart’s content. In terms of food and drink, the lounge does very well.
In terms of drinks, you can choose from water, soft drinks or juices, coffee and tea. If you fancy something stronger, you can choose from wine, spirits or – of course – Carlsberg on tap.

Working at Copenhagen Airport
Remote working in Copenhagen is easy to do. Wi-Fi is readily available at the airport, but since you are in Europe, you can also use your mobile hotspot.
In the SAS lounge, several areas are set up to work in. These include a number of large desks, as well as conference cubicles and meeting rooms.
If you use the public Wi-Fi network when you are working at Copenhagen airport, make sure you secure your connection via a VPN. If you have no idea what a VPN is, I recommend reading through this page.
If you do use the lounge’s public Wi-Fi network, don’t forget to secure your connection.

Shower & toilet SAS Gold Lounge Copenhagen
The SAS lounge has a number of showers, but unfortunately I was unable to check them out during my visit. Judging by the toilets, you can usually get a good indication of the showers, but I hope that is not the case here.
The toilets are OK, but not very spacious and look a bit tacky because of the green tones.

Kidscorner
The lounge also features a dedicated kids’ corner. It’s not meant for leaving your child unattended, but it’s a fun place to spend time if you have kids.

Conclusion SAS Gold Lounge Copenhagen
The SAS lounge is a very pleasant lounge. Like the lounge at Stockholm, I had a great time and was able to eat well. SAS does that very well.
The size of the lounge means there is plenty of space and it does not look crowded easily. The presence of offices, meeting rooms, desks and a dedicated children’s area are also a plus in this regard.
If you have a flight departing from Copenhagen and have access to the SAS lounge, this is definitely your best choice.
