LHV Airport Lounge Tallinn Impression

LHV Lounge Tallinn Airport

Priority Pass lounges have been getting better and better lately, and you will also find a good Priority Pass lounge at Tallinn airport.

In the last few days, Tallinn has surprised me in a positive way with modern hotels like the Radisson and Hilton Park, cosy food courts and a modern feel to the city.

For my flight back to the Netherlands, I have access to the LHV Lounge and that is the only lounge available at the airport. I am therefore curious to know how busy the lounge is and the lounge in general, as Priority Pass lounges vary in quality.

LHV Lounge Tallinn Airport

At the airport, too, I am pleasantly surprised. After being able to walk smoothly through security, I step into the LHV Lounge in no time. The look is modern and the lounge is spacious and very peaceful. The warm wood tones and light furniture create a pleasant look.

The last Priority Pass lounges I have visited have been of increasingly better quality, which makes me happy. The lounge consists of three large areas divided into different seating areas and workstations.

You can also grab a small snack, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages and coffee & tea in the lounge. Showers are not available, but the lounge does have its own toilets.

I personally always like a lounge with a view of the apron, and this is the case in the LHV Lounge. The entire width of the lounge consists of a large window overlooking the aircraft.

Access LHV Lounge Tallinn

You can gain access to the lounge in several ways. For example, on a number of airlines, you get access with status or a Business Class ticket, with Priority Pass and you can buy access.

  • Status or Business Class ticket
If you have status with one of the following airlines or you have a Business Class ticket with airBaltic, Finnair, LOT, Turkish Airlines, Lufthansa, SWISS and Aegean you will also get access to the lounge.
  • Priority Pass
You also gain access with a Priority Pass membership. Find out more about Priority Pass here.
  • Buy
You can also buy single access to the lounge. For 45€, you get three hours of access to the lounge. For children under 12, you pay 22€, and children under 2 are free.

Location LHV Lounge Tallinn

You will find the LHV Lounge on the first floor just after security. As soon as you pass the first duty-free shop, you will see a sign by a staircase, which will take you to the lounge. You can also take the lift, which you will find on the right side of the stairs.

Food and drink LHV Lounge Tallinn

Food and drink in the lounge are fine, though not extensive. There are some cold dishes like salad(s), cheeses and meat or a yoghurt and sandwiches. You can also choose from snacks, crisps and pretzels.

The warming trays and hot dishes were not filled at the time I visited the lounge.

In terms of drinks, you can choose from hot drinks like tea and coffee, water or a soft drink. If you fancy alcohol, there are spirits and a red and white wine.

Working at Tallinn Airport

In the LHV Lounge, there are several places to get some work done. There are a number of high desks with bar stools and views of the platform, as well as chairs with small tables where you can put your laptop.

The lounge does not have its own Wi-Fi network, so you will have to use a private hotspot or the airport’s Wi-Fi network. In that case, make sure you secure your connection via a VPN.

Toilets LHV Lounge Tallinn

The LHV lounge has its own toilets, but not showers. The toilets are unisex and, at the time I visit the toilet, not particularly clean. One of the toilet seats is covered in urine splatters.

Conclusion LHV Lounge Tallinn

The LHV lounge is yet another Priority Pass lounge that I like. Priority Pass’s latest lounges – especially in Europe – have been pleasing.

The lounge is modern, offers great food and has plenty of space. Now there is no other lounge at Tallinn, but apart from that, the LHV lounge is a great lounge to spend time before your flight.
