One of the best – if not the best – Priority Pass lounges I have seen.
Chase Sapphire Lounge
At New York airport – JFK – there are several lounges I can access. For instance, with my status with Flying Blue and the American Express Platinum card, I have access to the Delta Skyclub or Centurion Lounge. This time, however, I choose to visit the Chase Sapphire Lounge.
The Chase Sapphire Lounge is a Priority Pass Lounge and that is something I did not expect. The look and quality of the food is far above that of other Priority Pass lounges and I regret when my visit is over.

Access Chase Sapphire Lounge JFK
You get access to Chase Sapphire Lounge in a number of ways. For instance, you can enter based on Priority Pass or JPMorgan Reserve or Ritz-Carlton Card. The latter are virtually impossible for Dutch people to obtain.
- Chase Sapphire Reserve
Not a familiar card to us, but if you have the Chase Sapphire Reserve card, you get access to the Chase Sapphire Lounge worldwide – including at JFK. - Priority Pass
A Priority Pass subscription gives you access to the lounge. You cannot bring a guest with you. So you only have access to the lounge yourself. Priority Pass is included free of charge with the American Express Platinum card. - Loungekey
The Mastercard Loungekey website also lists the Chase Sapphire Lounge as available. Although I have not been able to verify this, I assume you can access the lounge with the Loungekey as well.
Location Chase Sapphire Lounge
The Chase Sapphire Lounge is located in Terminal 4 next to the Centurion Lounge at JFK. After walking through security, turn left. You will then walk straight to the lounge.
You can enter the lounge from 5am to 11am and are welcome from three hours before your flight departs.

Food and drink Chase Sapphire Lounge JFK
The food and drinks at the Chase Sapphire lounge are very good. You can order at the bar from a menu or with a QR code via your phone. Incidentally, this only works if you are connected to the lounge’s wifi network.
You can order alcoholic drinks by table number or take away. Personally, I am pleasantly surprised that they serve Piper Champagne. Do you prefer a soft drink, coffee or tea? Then you can get those from the dispenser.

The food in the lounge is very good. You can order the food through the app and it is then delivered to your table. Hamburgers with fries fly out of the kitchen and they look very good.
Are you more in the mood for fresh baklava, pecan buns, or Indian Biryani or Paneer Makhani? Or prefer something light like salad or fruit? There is something for everyone. And if you want to top off your meal with a homemade ice cream, this lounge also has a Solato, just like the Intercontinental.

Working at JFK Airport
The wifi in the lounge is good and working in the lounge is also possible. Although it is very crowded, there are plenty of places free to take a seat with a laptop. At the back of the lounge, special areas have been created to open your laptop. Just make sure that if you use the lounge’s public Wi-Fi network, you secure your connection.

Shower & toilet Chase Sapphire Lounge
The toilets in the lounge are fine. Showers do exist and can be booked on a first come first serve basis. Unfortunately, I was unable to book a shower during my visit. Therefore, I do not have photos of the showers.
The toilets are clean and spacious and a cleaner is constantly present.

Conclusion Chase Sapphire Lounge
The Chase Sapphire Lounge has exceeded my expectations. The lounge is spacious, modern and the food and drinks are very good.
While I usually believe that the level of a Priority Pass lounge is lower than that of alliances themselves, that is not the case here. If you fly through JFK Airport from Terminal 4 and have Priority Pass, I can definitely recommend the Chase Lounge!
