“The Hilton Da Nang is a nice hotel, but unfortunately the service leaves something to be desired.”
As soon as we decide to stay in Da Nang for a month, we spend a long time searching for an apartment where we can stay. Because it’s very difficult to judge from photos whether an apartment is suitable, we choose to stay at the Hilton Da Nang for a few nights first.
During check-in, we receive an upgrade to a nice suite and because the prices are favourable, we choose to extend our stay by 2 weeks. As a result, we stay at the Hilton Da Nang for almost 3 weeks and after such a period it starts to show its flaws.

Hilton Da Nang
The Hilton Da Nang is a nice hotel, but unfortunately a few things go wrong during our stay. For example, we have trouble twice at the parking garage, where they try to swindle us out of money, and the meeting room in the lounge is reserved for one guest for almost a month. In general, the lounge is also very busy, both with small children and a play area and loud Chinese tourists, but there’s not much the Hilton can do about that.
It’s a shame that the staff at the hotel don’t speak English well, making it difficult to find solutions.

Pros and cons of Hilton Da Nang
Pros
- Good location, near the busy centre
- Breakfast in the breakfast room is very extensive
- Secure parking garage available
Cons
- Service at the Hilton is unfortunately not what I’m used to from a Hilton. The staff also speak poor English.
- Breakfast in the lounge is very limited. That’s a shame, but as a result, almost no one eats there, and a lot of food is wasted every day.
- Music and noise in the lounge.
Price Hilton Da Nang
We pay for the Hilton Da Nang in two ways. The first five nights we stay for free because we use the fifth night free offer. This means you book your hotel based on Hilton points, where you pay for four nights if you book five nights.

We then extend our stay by 12 nights. We pay 69 euros per night for those nights (April 2026).

Location Hilton Da Nang
The Hilton Da Nang is located on the Han River, right by the Han River Bridge. As soon as you cross the bridge, you’re at the beach, the boulevard, and the busy centre in no time. The Hilton is well-located.

The hotel is located on a one-way street, so you sometimes have to drive around a small block if you want to leave, but arriving from the city is very convenient.
The hotel has a spacious parking garage where you can safely park your scooter and possibly car.

Room Hilton Da Nang
When booking, we choose the standard room, but at check-in, we’re pleasantly surprised when we get an upgrade to the King suite with one bedroom and a river view. It’s a spacious suite with a view of the river and the city of over 65m².
The room has its own living area, a spacious bedroom, an even larger bathroom, two decent televisions, and plenty of closet space.
The room

Bathroom
The bathroom has a double sink, a bathtub, a spacious walk-in rain shower, and a separate toilet.
As usual, you’ll find nice soap, shampoo, and lotion from Crabtree in the bathroom.

Breakfast Hilton Da Nang
The Hilton serves breakfast in the breakfast room and in the lounge on the 27th floor. Where I usually prefer breakfast in the lounge, this time it’s unfortunately different.
Breakfast room
The breakfast in the breakfast room is perfectly fine. The breakfast room consists of several separate seating areas, so even when it’s busy, you can still have a relatively quiet breakfast.

The breakfast consists of several healthy stations where you can find an extensive salad bar, raw vegetable skewers, and fruit.

There’s also a station where you can have a fresh egg prepared or pick one of the pre-cooked and boiled eggs.

Fancy a sandwich, croissant, hot dish or a tasty donut? Then you have nothing to complain about in Da Nang.

Breakfast in the Executive Lounge
Normally, I prefer to have breakfast in the lounge. It’s quieter and often the selection is almost the same as that of the breakfast room.
In the Hilton Da Nang, it’s different. The selection is quite limited and there’s hardly anyone there. Whether that’s cause/effect I don’t know, but it’s a shame.
Every day around half-past ten, trays full of fresh food go into the bin, and that’s just not right.

The breakfast in the lounge also has a fruit and salad corner, but it’s slightly less extensive than downstairs. In the fridge, you’ll find smoothies, yoghurts, granola, and salmon.

There are also sweet pastries, fresh bread, fried and boiled eggs, and there’s bacon and chicken sausages.

It may sound petty, but what’s missing is, for example, the option to have a fresh egg prepared, and I personally missed the peanut butter and banana for my porridge. Not insurmountable, but a reason to sit downstairs.
Facilities Hilton Da Nang
Executive Lounge
You already know there’s a lounge in the Hilton. You’ll find the Executive Lounge on the 27th floor of the hotel.

The lounge serves breakfast between 07:00 and 10:30 and Happy Hour starts at 17:30 until 19:30, and the lounge closes at 20:30.

Happy Hour consists of a number of small snacks and sandwiches. You’ll often find several types of pork and fish there. Complemented with salad, sandwiches, and a few cheeses.

Wine, beer, spirits, and cocktails are also available. You can make your own cocktail, but the staff find it just as enjoyable to provide you with a cocktail.
Gym
The Hilton has a fairly spacious gym, where you will find the necessary equipment for strength and cardio.

Swimming pool
A swimming pool can also be found on the same floor. Not very big, but big enough to swim a few lengths.
During our stay, the pool was often very crowded and full of small children. That leaves little space for quiet use.

Restaurant
On the 28th floor, you’ll find The Sail. A restaurant with a great view, but as you can see from the picture, few crowds.

Cafe
In the hotel’s Lobby, you’ll find Cafe Viet. A small coffee bar where you can also order sandwiches and high tea.

Parking
Underneath the hotel, you can use the car park. You can park your scooter as well as a car. Use of the garage is completely free of charge.

Remote working Da Nang
Working at the hotel is generally fine. We have a nice desk in the room and there is also a meeting room in the lounge with a nice table for working.
It is unfortunate that during our stay, one guest reserved the meeting room for a month, so we could hardly use it. Personally, I would direct such a guest to the third floor, which is what it is meant for.

Wifi in the hotel is relatively fast. At 77 Mbps, you can do video calls and other work well.

Conclusion Hilton Da Nang
The Hilton Da Nang is a fine hotel with some beauty flaws. That the lounge is so crowded is unfortunate and, as far as I know, not the purpose of a lounge. Lots of children, loud music and a dedicated play area.
Booking a meeting room for a month and the noise in the car park make the stay unpleasant.
Still, I can recommend the Hilton if you are looking for an affordable and good hotel in Da Nang. The Hilton is competitively priced and, with a good breakfast, gym and pool, offers plenty of value for money.
