A modern Hilton hotel with saunas, pool, good breakfast and Executive lounge.
Having been positively surprised at the Radisson Collection hotel in Tallinn, I am curious to see how the Hilton Park hotel will fare when I spend the last two nights in Tallinn there.
Where the Radisson hotel excels in appearance and spa, the bar – in Tallinn – is very high. Especially as the Radisson is on the bargain side at €119 per night. You can read how the Hilton Park in Tallinn liked it in this review.

Hilton Park Hotel Tallinn
The Hilton Park Hotel in Tallinn – like the Radisson – looks modern and uses warm – modern-classic – tones throughout the hotel. Opened in 2016, the hotel has 11 floors with a total of 202 rooms.
While checking into the hotel, we can use the Diamond level benefits of Erik’s Hilton Honors programme and as a result, we are upgraded to the Executive floor on the 11th floor and assigned room 1111.
Access to the Executive lounge and free accommodation is also included thanks to status with the Honors programme.

Advantages of Hilton Park
- Executive Lounge
- Good location near city centre, port and airport
- Advantages of the Hilton Honors programme
- Nice spa with a good swimming pool and hot tub
Disadvantages of Hilton Park
- The music is quite loud throughout the hotel
Hilton Park Tallinn price
I pay 93 euros (January 2025) per night for the Hilton Park hotel. This includes free breakfast and access to the executive lounge. This is not included in the stay as standard.
I explain more about the benefits of the Hilton Honors programme here.

Hilton Park Tallinn location
The Hilton Park Hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of the train station and city centre. In addition, you can use Uber and Bolt in Tallinn and drive around the city for a few euros.
The airport is about 10 minutes’ drive away and the port is also just 10 minutes away.
Room Hilton Park Tallinn
The room at the Hilton Park hotel is spacious and equipped with twin beds, a desk, a sitting area, a relatively small TV, and a minibar. The fact that the TV is on the small side is not a problem for me personally, as I don’t usually use it anyway.
There is also a small closet where you will find a spa bathrobe with day slippers. Charging phones and watches is tricky in the room though, as there is only one socket near the beds.

The bathroom is also very spacious and equipped with a convenient door that you can use to close off the bathroom and/or toilet. The toilet is separated from the shower and washbasin, which I like.
Unlike the Radisson hotel down the road in Tallinn, the Hilton has a separate – space – walk-in shower with Crabtree shower gel and a bathtub, also equipped with Crabtree shower gel and shampoo. A critical note: both the hand shower and rain shower are very soft, so soft that the rain shower does not get past the hand shower.
That a room on the executive floor has only one sink is unfortunate in my experience and that the make-up mirror does not work because the batteries are dead is also sloppy (because yes, men use them too).

Breakfast Hilton Park Tallinn
I arrive just in time for breakfast to be the first to take photos and everything looks good on it too. There is a fruit and salad bar, yoghurts, various egg dishes and an option to have an egg of your choice cooked.
Various sweet breads, a fresh sourdough bread, muffins and doughnuts further complete the breakfast. What is unfortunate is that despite the ample choice, breakfast does not feel fresh.

The breakfast room is further arranged in a number of different areas and you can take a seat at small tables, large round tables or at a circular bench seat.
In the middle of the breakfast room, you will find a large bar where you can order fresh coffee, instead of the fully automatic machine further down the breakfast room.

If you don’t feel like coffee, you can always enjoy a fresh smoothie, a juice (from a pack) or coffee, tea from the machine(s).

Facilities Hilton Park Tallinn
Gym
Hilton Park’s Gym is neat and consists of black Technogym equipment. You’ll find various strength and cardio machines, but few loose dumbbells for working out. Although not huge, you can get a fine workout in here.

Hilton Tallinn Park Spa
On the same floor as the gym, you will also find a spa and it consists of two saunas. These include a Finnish sauna that heats up to 85 degrees and a Turkish steam bath. Finished with the sauna? Then jump under one of the two cold rain showers found between the sauna and the pool.

Swimming pools
In the same area as the saunas, you will find a large swimming pool and a jacuzzi. The pool is spacious and long enough to swim laps. During my visit to the Hilton, it is quiet and I have the pool to myself.
The Jacuzzi is also spacious and you can operate it yourself with a remote control found on the rim.

Massage shower
As just briefly mentioned, you will also find two massage showers between the pool and the spa where you can choose a cold shower after the sauna or a hot massage shower. The jets on the side and the waterfall at the top were quite appealing to me.

Are you completely done with your spa experience? Then you can shower off in the changing room with the Crabtree soap, use the handy lockers and dry your wet clothes in the small dryer. Ideal.

Hilton Honors Membership
During my visit to the Hilton Park hotel, I am a gold member, but I am lucky enough to be with Erik this stay and he is Diamond during our visit. Because of his status, we get access to the Executive lounge, an upgrade to the Executive floor and free breakfast.

Hilton Park Tallinn Executive Lounge
Hilton Park offers an Executive Lounge on the 11th floor and it is open from 7am to 8pm. The lounge does not serve breakfast and until 12.00 you can only use the coffee machine and/or tea.
The lounge is modern and features seating areas separated by golden curtains. There are the necessary relaxed chairs with and without tables, a large sofa and there are desks to work at.

Soft drinks and snacks are available from 12.00 and consist of chips, nuts and some biscuits. You can also grab the necessary soft drinks and happy hour starts from 17.30.

During happy hour, you can grab the necessary alcoholic drinks and there are also hot snacks, cheeses and crisps.

Remote working Tallinn
Working at the Hilton Hotel is very possible. Apart from the workstations in the lounge and room, you can also take a seat downstairs in the lobby or in the restaurant.
Thereby, the Wi-Fi connection is more than fine for Hilton Honors members. I reach 420MB per second, which is unprecedentedly fast. Just be sure to secure your connection via a VPN connection if you use the public Hilton network.

Conclusion Hilton Park Tallinn
The Hilton Park Tallinn is a very nice hotel and, at €98 a month, quite affordable. If you have status with the Hilton Honors programme – for example, through an American Express card – you also get free breakfast.
If you don’t have status, I find the Radisson Collection to be a better choice. That hotel is slightly more expensive, but has a much better hotel and also a better spa. Depending on your situation, both hotels are a great choice.
