For years, the Concordia Lounge was the only lounge at Denpasar in the Domestic Terminal. Fortunately, there is now competition.
Concordia Den Pasar
The Concordia Lounge in the Domestic Terminal of Ngurah Rai Airport was, for many years, the only lounge you could visit when flying domestic from Bali, Den Pasar. The lounge didn’t really excel in anything and felt shabby.
The separate entrance on the side where you were not checked, the counter hidden somewhere around a corner and the packaged food that tastes like nothing makes the lounge fine for waiting for your flight, but arriving a minute earlier than needed for a snack or coffee was not worth it.

New Concordia Lounge in Bali
During my last visit, I noticed that the side entrance has disappeared. You now have to pass by the – still hidden – counter to sign in for your visit.
When you then step into the lounge, you still see the shabby chairs standing with the food lined up to the right. While this is not inviting, you do notice that the lounge has been renovated at the back.
More seating areas have been created there and an extra food station has been put up. The food at that station looks better, but whether it tastes better I cannot say (unfortunately). I deliberately had a good breakfast before my flight because I assumed the food in the lounge is not fantastic.
Whether the renewal of the lounge is due to the recently opened Blue Sky Lounge on Denpasar, I dare not say, but the expansion is a positive change.

Priority Pass Lounge Bali
Access Concordia Lounge
- Priority Pass
We have access to the lounge with our Priority Pass through American Express. This card also allows us to bring a +1 (entourage).
Food and drink
As mentioned, the food and drinks are of moderate quality. You have crackers, snacks, fruit and juices. You will also find rice with steamed vegetables such as broccoli and a meat dish. There is also various fried food.

At the new food station, you will find cakes and biscuits, fruit water and various sandwiches and pastries. There is also a corner set up with milk and yoghurt and much-needed cereal and granola. The food at the second station is also presented differently – better – than the food at the old food station in the corner.

Seating and work opportunities
Since the renewal of the lounge, there is more space to sit and several corners have also been created where you can sit with more privacy.
There are tables you can sit at if you need to get some work done and a corner with beanbags. You can use the Wi-Fi network in the lounge, but the speed here leaves something to be desired. Also remember to secure your connection when using the lounge or airport network.

Concordia Lounge Denpasar location
The lounge is located in the Domestic Terminal near Gate 2. You will find the desk to sign in around the corner on the left as you walk from security to Gate 1-2.
Shower and toilet
Showers are not available in the lounge, but toilets are fortunately available. These are neat and clean.

Conclusion Concordia Lounge
Personally, I am not a fan of the Concordia Lounge in Denpasar, Bali and this is mainly because of the look and quality of the food. This is quite limited.
Since the arrival of the new Blue Sky Premier Lounge near Gate 6, that feeling has become stronger. If you are looking for an alternative to the Concordia Lounge, try it.
However, it must be said that at the moment, the lounge is better than previous years and this is due to the expansion and the new food station.
