The new Premier Lounge at Ngurah Rai airport is a nice addition to the Concordia lounge.
Blue Sky Lounge Bali
For years, you have found the Concordia Lounge in the Domestic Terminal at Ngurah Rai Airport, the airport in Bali. Despite its recent renovation and expansion, this lounge is mediocre.
Lounge Denpasar
It is therefore a relief when I step into the Blue Sky Premier Lounge. After my good experience in the lounge in Jakarta, I am pleasantly surprised in Denpasar too. From the entrance to the lounge on the first floor, everything looks modern, clean and new.

Priority Pass Lounge Bali
I have to be honest: at check-in, I have my doubts. Indeed, halfway through the departure lounge, I am approached by a staff member asking if I want to visit the lounge. This is highly unusual.
As I am on my way anyway and the lounge is right next to Gate 6, from where I am leaving, I continue walking. The reception also raises doubts. A message is shown to me via Google Translate indicating that there may be a charge for the lounge. Strange, I haven’t seen that before either.
Still, I trust my Priority Pass and check in. I get a ticket with a QR code and can scan it at the gates a little further down. I walk up the stairs to the first floor where the lounge is located.

Access Blue Sky Premier Lounge
- Priority Pass
We have access to the lounge with our Priority Pass through American Express. With this card, we are allowed to bring 1 extra person.
Food and drink
Unlike the Concordia Lounge, the food and drink in the Blue Sky lounge was inviting. There are snacks, chips and fried snacks, pastries and various cakes and biscuits.
You can also find a barista in this lounge for fresh coffee, get noodle soup, salad and fresh fruit.
There is also a tap for a Bali Hai beer and a fridge filled with soft drinks. To top it all off, there is even a chocolate fountain, great for drizzling over your ice cream that you can get from the barista.
At the Blue Sky Mantaun stall – inside the lounge – you can also order a take away package. Unfortunately, this is not free. Prices range from IDR 185,000 to IDR 365,000 (Nov 2024) which works out at 11 and 22 euros.

Seating and work opportunities
The space is not very large, but it is well laid out. You will find honeycombed cubicles where you can sit in privacy, small chairs with tables and various sofas and seating areas. For people who smoke, a separate booth can be found in the lounge.
Although not large, you can therefore enjoy privacy. There is also a relatively large table you can work at. If you use the lounge’s wifi network, don’t forget to secure your connection with a VPN.

Location Blue Sky Premier Lounge
The Blue Sky Premier Lounge is located after security in the Domestic Terminal near Gate 6. You check in at reception and can go up by both stairs and lift after you are signed in.
Shower and toilet
The toilets are neat; spacious and clean. I also see a door with showers, but unfortunately it was closed and I was unable to assess it. Judging from the rest of the lounge, I assume the showers are also neat and clean.

Conclusion Blue Sky Premier Lounge
The Blue Sky Premier Lounge positively surprised me and is a nice lounge where you can eat, work and freshen up just fine.
